About Me

I have been writing poetry since the age of 13 but I have been in love with words from the time I was four. Never writing anything down but always making things up off the top of my head. Writing is my therapy, it’s what gets me through the hard stuff and it’s part of the reason why I have survived. I’m still learning about writing though and everyday I fall in love with new writing.

I have ADHD; I was diagnosed when I was seven and I’m just now beginning to understand  how my mind works. I’m not normal, so I will not do anything the normal way because I don’t even know what normal is. I guess normal might involve organization or having one thought at a time (I don’t even know what those things are).

I’m addicted to books, good music, nail polish( I’ve just rediscovered that one), Gilmore Girls and the color teal ( I don’t really understand that one pink is the color I usually go for ).

The more I understand about my ADHD, the more I will add to and change this About Me page.

    • I’m a pretty simple person so I want the place where I put my poetry and writing to reflect that. That’s really all we are, simply people just living day to day through life no matter what challenges life gives us. Thank you for taking the time to look at my poetry. Thank you for the comment, I will go and look at your blog sometime soon.
